I love Jano. They have a sink in the hallway so you can wash your hands without entering the restroom. The injera was bitter like I LOVE. The chef was able to accommodate my request even though they were out of what I came for (doro wat). Very pleased overall will return when I'm in the area.

JANO is what was previously Sheger. The restaurant looks great inside! Very nice/clean and a bit fancy. The food is still delicious. I typically order the Awaze lamb or beef tibs and a veggie combo. During most recent visit I only ordered the veggie combo which is super healthy and more than enough food on its own. I love this place and it is my go to Ethiopian spot. Nice ambiance, friendly staff/great service and fresh & delicious food. I should also add that my food is still hot and fresh from Bellaire to Pearland. Impressive.
